Arrival and Departure
Arrival: Dancers should arrive at 10:00 AM with hair and makeup done and should be back and ready for the second show by 4:00. If your child is under the age of 11, a parent or guardian should be on the premises as long as your child is there, in case of an emergency. If a parent is not purchasing a ticket to watch the show then, they can either volunteer or remain in the lobby. When dancers arrive, they must stop at the designated Dancer and Volunteer Sign-In Table to check in and get their dressing room assignments. This is required for both shows as it allows us to know who is present!

Mini and Youth parents will be required to sign in and out their dancer electronically everytime they bring them to or from the dressing room. We have a new online system that will allow for all of our staff to have access to emergency contact information as well as performance schedules right at our fingertips. Dancers will not be allowed to leave the dressing room without first being signed out. Dancers should not leave the dressing room until after the last dance they are performing in. If dancers are only performing in the second half of the show, they are permitted to watch the first half but must check into the dressing room at the start of intermission. If you plan on doing this, please check into the dressing room upon arrival before heading to the auditorium to watch. Those that are only dancing in the first half of the show will be allowed to watch the second half. Please be sure to bring your child back to the dressing room 3 numbers before the finale to make sure they are there for the bow! Small Preschoolers (ages 5 and under) will be allowed to sit on a parents lap in the audience if they are watching any part of the show without a ticket. If you would like your child to have their own seat or if they are older than 5, then a ticket must be purchased in order for them to sit in the audience. Children are usually most comfortable with a parent helping them change. Mother’s are allowed in the girl’s dressing rooms to assist with costume changes or for visits. If you don’t think your child will sit for the show in the auditorium, then please keep them in the dressing room with the monitor. All Preschoolers and Level 1 dancers should be picked up and signed out of the dressing room immediately following each show.

Level 2, 3, 4, and 5 dancers will be in the gym for dressing. Dancers must remain in the dressing room and should not be going in and out of the auditorium. If a dancer is in only 1 or 2 numbers at the beginning of the show and wants to watch the rest of the show from the auditorium, then they must purchase a ticket. Under no circumstance should a dancer be watching from the auditorium until they are finished with their dances for the show. We need to know where students are to be able to line them up backstage. The show will not run smoothly if we have to be searching for our dancers!
