Every costume has gone home with a label indicating how the hair should be worn and what tights and shoes to wear. Please review those tags NOW and make sure you have tights that will fit your child and the correct shoes. Please make sure to bring all costumes, tights and shoes to dress rehearsal and on recital day. Underwear should not be worn with tights. If you or child are uncomfortable with that, then nude colored underwear with preferably no seam lines should be worn. Older girls may wish to wear a nude colored thong. If you do not think the tights provided will fit your child, then we might be able to exchange them at the studio. Please bring in new packaged tights for any exchanges to be made. Tights will be sent home in the next couple of weeks.

If you are participating in the Finale, dancers are required to wear their recital t-shirt as well as a pair of solid black leggings (joggers for boys). Dancers will also be barefoot for the dance. Please do not wear recital t-shirts before dress rehearsal if you are participating in finale.

Makeup 

Mini, Youth, and Advanced Youth: Powder foundation to match skin tone should be worn along with a little blush. Red lipstick should be worn. One of the long wearing lipstick that does not smudge is best to not get on costumes. Bright red/orange lipstick does not look good on stage. Please keep it a more natural color. A little dark brown shadow should be worn under the eye as eyeliner and Mascara. Natural colored brown eyeshadow can be used to accentuate the eyes.

Pre-Teen and Teen Classes: Liquid matte foundation should be used with powder foundation to even out skin and any blemishes. Blush should be worn. Red lipstick should be worn. One of the long wearing lipstick that doesn't smudge is best to not get on costumes. Bright red/orange lipstick does not look good on stage. Please keep it a more natural color. A dark brown shadow should be worn under the eye as eyeliner and on the lash line of the upper lid with a little wing. Fake Eyelashes should be worn to accentuate the eyes on stage. I highly recommend the magnetic eyeliner/lashes. Darker brown eyeshadow in the crease of the eye and a nude color on the lid of the eye. Eyebrow pencil/color should be worn for those with light eyebrows
